The cover for the next Mercy Thompson novel, Frost Burned (Mercy Thompson #7) was revealed yesterday and we here at Talk Supe couldn't be more excited. Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson series is one of our FAVORITE Urban Fantasy series and this is one book that we are anxiously waiting for. We only wish March 2013 would get here sooner because we are in dire need of more action from Mercy Thompson and Adam Hauptman.

I haven't read this series yet. and everyone's so excited for this *must catch-up* It's only August but I've already decided that next year shall be series year and I will catch-up w/ all these great UF series out there!

ReplyDeleteI have been looking out for the next book, yay!! Well spotted girls! I looovvve this series. Adam ....wow! Mercy is one of my fave chick leads. I do love Stefan too. The chick on the cover is real. The lads that are the artists were playing pool in a bar and she was the bartender and they finally plucked the courage up to ask her. They were hoping she didn't think they were perves, lol!! Worked out well. It is on Patricia's page the link to the artists for the cover art. I think on my first review I did of book 1 I have link there. It is really awesome to read the backstory to the girl on cover and see her in the flesh and what they did with the covers. You may already know this? Just saying:)

Mich - I have read the story about the cover model for the Mercy books. I thought it was cool that Jamie was the bartender for the artist who did the covers for this series.
DeleteMercy's always looked awesome in the book covers but I have to say that this is by far my favorite so far. First, Mercy looks absolutely gorgeous and two, it illustrates her tough but tender characteristics.
Mercy Thompson was one of the first UF books I got started on and have been loving up on it! Haha! I can't wait for Frost Burned and hope it hurries and releases!
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAAH! I LOVE THIS COVER! I actually REALLY love the art for this series. I love it BECAUSE it's art--not just the standard girl in the dress photography. Seriously, the cover for Moon Called is BADASS.
