Oddly enough the books that have resonated with me so far in 2012 are contemporary romance books. I finally started some great PNR or UF series this year that I've been wanting to read for a long time but these books are ones that I can't stop thinking about or recommend to others quite often.

DeleteOh loving the Alpha/Omega series Braine! I just read Cry Wolf and was completely in love with it. Briggs is one of my favorite authors! She came to NC not too long ago. She's so nice in person and talks just like she writes :)

Yes, loving Cat & Bones I read books 1-4 in less a week and loved them. I haven't read 5-6 because yet because I got distracted by other books but I'll get to it before the next NH book comes out. Have you started Once Burned?
DeleteNot yet. I've got it sitting on my shelf just staring at me though. I'm doing this whole "Christmas in July" thing and trying to read just christmas/winter books but figured with the last name Frost it should count :)
DeleteYes Cimmaron too have met her and she said the same thing. I want to personally chat with her soon so I can grill her about Bran Cornick... I'm obsessed with the man!
DeletePatricia and I live in the same Washington State town and she is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I've seen her around a few times but one time we were both shopping in the same bookstore and I was a little shy/nervous because I love her Mercy book so much.

ReplyDeleteCimmaron: The only one I've read is on your list is Jeaniene Frost's book! Gabriel's Inferno looks interesting. I still haven't read any of the 50 Shades books.
Lily - Yes, I finally got to Cat & Bones this year and I was so upset with myself that I didn't start it sooner. Gabriel's Inferno was fantastic. It was smart, sensual and intense and I loved every word of it. Hope you'll have the time to read it. Thanks for stopping by!

I really hope you get to read it soon. So good and I think I might love it more than Fifty Shades of Grey. I always joke that I'm cheating on Christian Grey with Grideon Cross.
DeleteI feel like I am the only one who is behind on BDB series. I am only on Lover Avenged. I have Bare to You on my TBR buy list. Read the first book in Fifty Shades. I have been thinking about Gabriel's Inferno. Love Halfway to the grave. All good choices. Have a great weekend.
