Dirty Little Secret #16

Dirty Little Secret is a weekly meme hosted by Under the Covers. Every Thursday they get to know other bloggers and readers more intimately by asking them a question hoping to reveal their dirty little secrets.
This week's question:
What book would you recommend to heat up your summer!

Braine:
Well I'm not a big erotica reader but I recommend you pick up Bared to You by Sylvia Day. For me it had the perfect mix of story and sex, sanity and madness, excitement and drama. It's rare that I fall in love with both the hero and heroine but I was swept off my feet by Eva and Gideon. Should I have the misfortune of living a damaged or tortured life, I'll most certainly take Eva's any time of the day.

Cimmaron:
I concur with Braine and would have to recommend Bared to You by Sylvia Day. If you're a fan of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy this book would be right up our alley. The writing is incredible and I must admit that I found Gideon Cross to be a much better lover and I liked the fact that he didn't have the urge to beat the shit out of me in his playroom. Another great book that I've recently read and would recommend to anyone who's into the dark and tortured hero would be Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard. I've yet to complete my review for it because it's something that I haven't come across in a long time. It's not only sensual but smart and thought provoking. Although it doesn't have very much sex it was still gripping and I felt like I was being seduced the whole time I was reading. The ending leaves you a very steamy happy ending.

Now that we've shared our Dirty Little Secret  with you, what's yours?

  5. Ohhhh Gideon!! ♥.♥ I gotta agree with Cimmaron, that I loved that Gideon didn't feel the urge to beat the crap out of his lover.. so not a turn on -.- Sorry Miss V, but I really hated FSOG. anyways, Braine, Cimmaron, good choices.. I didn't quite enjoy reading Gabriel's Inferno though, it was rather slow for me :)
