As we mentioned last week Talk Supe will no longer be participating in a particular Sunday Mailbox meme, although we are saddened to have to make that choice we still felt compelled to share with our readers the books that we've acquired during the past week. As a result we've created a new Sunday post, BB&B (Bought, Borrowed and Bagged) where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed or bagged (won) plus a recap of the previous week's reviews, upcoming reviews, on going events and any news you want to share with your followers.
Please feel free to stop by and share with us the books you've received this week. If you're participating in a different "IMM type" meme, please make sure you leave us a link to your post so we could stop by and visit. We're sure that bloggers will be participating in different types of events but we'd still love to see what great books everyone else has picked up this week.
The title BB&B was inspired by Mackayla Lane's beloved bookstore, Barrons Books & Baubles, owned by one of our favorite alpha males, Jericho Z. Barrons in Karen Marie Moning's Fever series.

I really like Amy Plum's series so far. Just finished book 2 and it still holds up, hope you like it too!
ReplyDeleteOur Media Mail post and Linky are at Book Sake. –Jessica
Love, love, love B, B &B!!! Very clever ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, Cimmaron - you bought Deadlocked. You're a better Sookie fan than I, lol!
Braine - those Amanda Hockings covers are beautiful!
Great job!!
Jamie@Addicted2Heroines
I really haven't enjoyed the last 3 Sookie books. They all have felt so flat and it took me a couple of days to finish Deadlocked. Everything I loved about this series is gone. My review for Deadlocked won't be favorable but I'm hoping that the last book well end on a good note.
DeleteThank you for this weekly meme :)
ReplyDeleteI'm super happy to be apart of it and I really want to read Switched :D

Get Die for Me while it's still on sale! I'm cracking that ebook open this week in time for Until I Die. Thanks for returning the visit.
DeleteOh wow that's quite the haul. I need to read Divergent, I'm really behind on all the hype for Insurgent. I hope you enjoy all your goodies!
ReplyDeleteGreat books this week! I really want to read Die For Me! I've heard great things about it! I also can't wait to read The Unquiet!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
Wow that's a great haul for this week! There are a lot of books that I've been meaning to read or check out. I have read Divergent though, which I loved.

Hey girlies!!! Braine thanks for visiting mine this morning!!! I already said this but I love your name BB&B and I'm sure JZB would approve!!;$
ReplyDeleteI think I bought Die For Me since it was $1.99.
Okay so Cimmaron I didn't even buy Sookie this time, and this will be the first time I didn't per-order, it makes me sad that a favorite series of mine has been going downhill for the last couple books. Harris is really not an Eric fan, but still I used to countdown the latest release so sad. :( All of those $1.00 sound awesome, I'm really trying to get into more HR books, and Lisa Kleypas is one. Now that I'm looking, I think I bought Seithe too.
Well have an Awesome week girlies!!! Great books!!! I'm so happy we still have a place to check out books on Sunday!!:)
P.s. love the yellow Owl! ;)
Yes good deal for Die For Me esp since I got Until I Die ARC lol.
DeleteAbout Sookie, C was also griping about it the other day. If things continue to go bland we at least have HBO to fall back to.
Thanks for returning the visit Vain!
Thanks for stopping by my summary post! You both got some great stuff this week. I hope you both enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved Switched and Die For Me. Need to read Divergent and Torn. And Deadlocked!? Lots of jealous emotions are being emitted right now... Anyways, happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my haul.
This is a great haul! You know I've got Fanpire too. And I'm so glad you liked Flash Gold, the whole series is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI've got Gentleman Undone, too. So many, yummy, yummy books. I'm trying to resist Deadlocked until I have a little more time, but it's so tempting. Just to find out what's going on.
Thanks for stopping by my haul at Reading Reality.

ReplyDelete@Braine Die For Me was SOOO awesome! I saw that you're going to do a review of Until I Die, and I'm SOO jealous you got Until I Die! I'm going to buy it (but only because my dad had to bribe me into going to golfing lessons) the day it comes out. And I've heard great stuff about Amanda Hocking's books! :)
ReplyDelete@Cimmaron It looks like you got a really good bargain for all those books! :) I LOVED Divergent and have read it, like, 3 times so I hope you enjoy it! :)
One of my have bookstores was hang a sidewalk sale. If I had more time I think I could have gotten more. All the books were in the used section but most actually looked brand new so it's an even better score.
DeleteI started Divergent but got sidetracked with Deadloacked but I will be picking it up again tomorrow. I stopped reading right when they were about to start selecting their factions. I can't wait till I'm deeper into the story. From all the buzz and what I've read so far I think I'll end up liking it a lot.
Thanks for stopping by our meme!
Excellent haul! All of these sound good! I'm really excited for you b/c you got the new Sookie Stackhouse book. I didn't realize there was a new one out until a few days ago. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteWow, awesome book haul! So many great books in those piles I'm a little jealous :) I hope you both enjoy them all, I'll be looking forward to your reviews!

ReplyDeleteAnd what a great haul of books this week! Loved Die For Me.. read it for my blog's Paris Month last month.. And I haven't read Plum Sykes' second novel, but I have the first one.. Bergdorf Blondes..

ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
My post.
Fanpire looks awesome! I JUST finished Divergent. LOOVED IT! Gotta do a review for it soon. TY for stoppin by and saying hi :)
ReplyDeleteU got an awesome deal on books too. I love when that happens. I got a HUGE box of books from a tag sale for 20 bucks and not 1 book was a bad one! I got 30 books for 20$ a good deal imo. I was smiling all the way home.
Have a gr8 reading week :)
STBL
I had no clue The Unquiet was up on netgalley I've been wanting to read that one since I heard about it. Great haul this week!
ReplyDeleteExcellent choices. I can't wait to see what you think of Deadlocked. I have heard some not so good reviews from this one.
ReplyDeleteI think you both have a book problem.lol That is a lot of books. I am REALLY REALLY trying to be good and not get to many books. I am so behind. I am also in a reviewing funk. Its weird but my reviews suck lately. My brain must be on vacation. So I am trying to slow down until I can properly think again. Okay anyways WOW to all your books.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you about the reviewing funk. I'll read the books but when it comes down to me sitting down to type a review I suddenly get ADD and can't focus on forming one coherent sentence. I wish my brain had a recorder that could take all my thoughts and type it up into a kick ass review instead of just a bunch of mumbo jumbo and run on sentences. HAHA.
DeleteI love the name! lol. Looks like you both got lots of great books. Hope you enjoy them all! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteHi! This is my first time visiting. It looks like you guys got some great stuff this week! I love the name of your new meme. Enjoy reading everything!
