As for our hop question regarding your opinion on the future movie's casting choice that being
Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower;
Honestly I think Pettyfer is a good fit for Jace because in my opinion he has the right build, face and swagger to pull off the famous Nephilim. As for Lily, she's not my choice but she's ok to play Clary.
Now I'd like to share this with you, this happened late September last year:
NAMELESS FAN: No offense but even if they casted some obscure person for Jace, no big wig including Cassandra is going to publicly bash the movie makers choice for the role. Every writer wants their books turned into a movie, it is a huge honor and publicly bashing a poor choice in casting is a career suicide. So, I honestly cannot believe that Cassandra believes Jamie is the best choice for Jace. Jamie looks like a wimpy drag queen not a warrior, and he is ugly! Someone really did wrong with this casting, and I object!Ouch! Someone got schooled big time.
Cassandra Clare: You are completely wrong. I wouldn't have had a problem if they'd cast an obscure person for Jace — they auditioned quite a lot of not well-known actors. If one of them had been the best choice for the part, I would have been fine if they had cast him. If I were unhappy with Jamie, I wouldn't have to speak out about it — I could simply remain silent on the topic, or reiterate the absolutely true fact that I have no choice about casting. I have chosen to go on record as thinking that Jamie is amazing for the part because his audition was amazing.
As for you thinking he's ugly — fine. You are entitled to your personal opinion. I think it's a little weird that you seem to think everyone must agree with you, given that the guy has a successful modeling career, is the face of Uniqlo, has a bazillion fansites dedicated to him, was recently listed as one of Glamour Magazine's Most Gorgeous Men in the World — but you know, whatever, we all have different taste. I do not however understand why you would assume that I would share your taste, or that because I don't, it's acceptable to call me a liar. It's not.
Oh, and calling him a "wimpy drag queen"? Homophobic. And unacceptable. You should be ashamed, and so should the people who "liked" your post. Equating homosexuality with weakness is flat-out bigotry and while the kids who "liked" the post might not get that, as an adult, certainly should.
Well on this same thread CClare also stated that when she saw Jamie & Lily's audition tape she cried because they ARE Jace and Clary. So how does one even begin to argue with God at this point? This is her world and I guess since they have her stamp of approval then it couldn't be that bad.
We'll see...

Oh WOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteCassandra Clare told that B***h off!! LOL. That was hilarious!!
