Slammed Series by Colleen Hoover
Soooo Good! I actually got this last weekend but didn't get to include it last weeks IMM. If you like YA/Contemporary Romance that deals with the not so ordinary and typical high school/college drama then I suggest you pick this series up. I promise it's good and the author mentions and references a band that I love and adore, The Avett Brothers. (Read my SLAMMED review HERE)
Love Unscripted by Tina Reber
Synopsis: Ryan Christensen just wanted to be an actor. Never in his wildest dreams did he ever think he'd become the most sought after film star on the planet. Taryn Mitchell has been feigning contentment while running the family pub in Seaport, Rhode Island. Her peaceful life is tossed upside down when Ryan tries to outrun a group of fans by taking a shortcut through Mitchell's Pub.
OK.....what girl hasn't fantasized about meeting and falling in love with a famous actor?
Thoughtless Series by S.C. Stephens
These books had received 4 star ratings on Goodreads and Amazon so I thought I'd give it a go. Love triangle with a local rock star? I'm in! Plus each book was only $3.99!

Yay for new books :-) Hope you enjoy them all. I especially love the cover for Point of Retreat & Hush - so mysterious looking :-)

Hex Hall is like book dessert for me, It's a fun series and now that it's finished, you can do a mini-marathon. Gods and Monsters is a good series too, it's not your typical monsters, the lead is a Gorgon in this one. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteBraine - I got Marriage by Mistake too. Gotta love FREE ebooks!
ReplyDelete- Cimmaron
It looks fun right? It's under erotica I think but the plot sounds decent and not just bunny-humping plus it's free so it's a win-win for me. LOL
DeleteBlood will tell cover looks amazing! Great haul this week. (:

MIchelle - I really liked SLAMMED. It was the realness of the family situation that got me. I actually cried a few times. I don't know if it's the fact that I'm getting older but I never cried while reading books before and now I find myself getting teary eyed more ofter. Damn these "you're over 30" hormones. LOL!
Delete- Cimmaron

ReplyDeleteSo many books! Wow! I haven't heard of a lot of these, but they all look super cool! Enjoy your books :)
ReplyDeleteSlammed: Cimmaron told me about this but it's too close to my own personal tragedy and with that, I recommend it to all of you if you want to read something tragic. That's a personal guarantee from me LOL
ReplyDeleteCimmaron - I will be borrowing that Love Unscripted book from you soon. :)
If circumstances were different I think you would have liked Slammed too I think that's why I was so emotional reading the book cause I thought of you and Tita :-(
DeleteI think you might like Love Unscripted. I was getting kilig just putting myself in the girls shoes. Hollywood actor boyfriend. Squee. HAHAHA!
