Dirty Little Secret #5

Dirty Little Secret is a weekly meme hosted by Under the Covers. Every Thursday they get to know other bloggers and readers more intimately by asking them a question hoping to reveal their dirty little secrets.
This week's question:
Now that Lover Reborn has come and passed, what book are you most looking forward to?!
Braine:
Frost Burned is the 7th book in Patricia Briggs' Mercedes Thompson Series. I'm just so invested in Mercy and Adam's relationship, the latter is so  steadfast and dreamy, they're just so perfect for each other. Spring 2013 is a long wait but I have Alpha and Omega to pacify me for now. The book cover and plot isn't out yet but below is some news on the plot.

Tidbits - It is going to cover or link to the events in Fair Game and might be set in Boston (Patty is writing it now! But she's known to change plot/ideas because she is a pantser.) It will also feature Fae, serial killers and maybe vamps! - Mercy's Garage

Cimmaron:
Well the obvious answer would be the next BDB book. TEAM QHUAY! Qhuinn and Blay's book really should be quite interesting but since we all have to wait another year (the horror!) I guess I should pick something that's in the now. Although this isn't a new release it is the next book in the Immortals After Dark series that was so totally engulfed in before Christian Grey walked into my life. I was a few chapters in then my world stopped when I decided to read Fifty Shades of Grey but I think I'm back on solid ground again and should be able to pick up right where I had left off.

    1. We are BIG fans of Adam Hauptman from the Mercy series. He's just so...PERFECT for Mercy. I just wish I could find someone like Adam. I mean we live in the same town for god sakes! LOL!

    I haven't read any Mercy Thompson books but I hear they're great, just not lots of romance so that's why I have waited to read!! LOl. The slut in me says no..HA!!

    Oh Cimmaron, I'm also waiting on Qhuay, Fifty (If he gets another, let's start a petition) But hey I need to catch up on IAD series, I'm behind...;(

  9. I have to admit River Marked was a surprising um....well it wasn't the same gripping , emotion and smexi as the other books. My fave is book 3. I still enjoyed River Marked but Patricia kinda went a bit limp on the Adam and Mercy smexi considering the storyline. But I do LOVE this series and all the sub characters. I love Stefan. Really looking forward to the next book.

    Adam is one amazing character. Mercy is selfless and one of my fave female leads. One of my fave UF series.

    I still haven't read one drop of Kresley Cole's works....must do this:D

    1. Love Adam. He's such a stand up kind of guy. Ugh I'm still hoping I run into him around town. I've scoured the area he's supposedly lives in but still haven't come across him of any other members of his pack. HAHAHA.

      I hope you get to read IAD. They are suck thrilling books and so far I've loved of the hero's and heroines.

  11. The MT series doesn't have a lot of steam on it but Adam H. will surely get your knickers in a bunch. I agree with you Cat and Michelle, the last one was a little uninspired considering they were in their honeymoon. I'm reading the Alpha and Omega series now and I'm about to crack open book 3. I'll let you know if PBriggs is still in a hump or not. Hopefully it'll be a good gauge as to whether or not the 7th Mercy book will be top notch. Thanks for stopping by guys!
